Our Flatbreads: Roti

Roti

Roti is the Sanskrit (classic language of India) word for bread, and for thousands of years it has been a key component of South Asian and Caribbean cuisine.  At Stonefire, we bake our roti in our tandoor oven at an extremely high heat to give them a flaky texture and a deliciously authentic taste.  Unlike naan, roti contain no added yeast.  They are also thinner than naan.  However, similar to naan, they are best served warm.  Your Stonefire roti can be used as a quesadilla, panini or burrito. You can serve this incredibly versatile flatbread with your favourite dips, soups, pastas or stews.  The possibilities are endless. We’ve left the creativity up to you.
